This is Where I Live: Segment 9: Chicagoland Track and Field Championships

University of Chicago hosted this years Chicagolands Track and Field Championships. Twenty one teams from the greater Chicago area competed in 44 events in both mens and womens fields. The UofC Maroons took the womens field, while the North Park Vikings took the mens field. You can see all the results here.

This is Where I Live: Segment 8: Tony Flowers

I went for a bike ride last weekend and met Tony Flowers aka Ynot @ Oak street Beach. Tony has been juggling for somewhere in the neighborhood of 30 years. He got his start in high school playing baseball when one of his buddies taught him the basics. Juggling has taken him from Louisiana to Hawaii and back to Chicago. If you see Tony stop by and say hello; he might even teach you a few tricks.
