Road trip to Costa Rica

I recently returned from a road trip to Costa Rica. It took is 13 days to drive from Chicago to the border of Nicaragua and Costa Rica. It was a crazy experience full of excitement, adventure, photography, rice, beans, rum, and a little bit of danger. These are some police from El Salvador. They escorted us through the eastern tip of El Salvador to the border of Honduras. Ski masks and AK's. You can see more of the photos here.
