Isaacson and Stein Fish Company has been in business for over 80 years. They are the oldest fresh fish wholesaler in the city of Chicago. They have a long history in the fish business you can read about here. While everybody has their own secret spot to buy fish, Isaacson and Stein has a large and varied selection with good prices. During regular weeks they sell in the neighborhood of 70,000 lbs of fish a week and during the holidays they sell around 120,000 lbs a week. They import fresh fish from all over the world by air and will gut and clean your fish for you on premise. You can find them at 800 West Fulton Market in Chicago.
